Rotary cooler introduction
The rotary cooler is also called a single-tube cooler, which can be used to cool the freshly dried raw materials produced in the rotary dryer with a certain degree of heat, and after cooling, it can move to the next processing of raw materials more quickly. It plays a very important role in the rotary kiln system, cooling the clinker that has been processed at high temperatures and is usually used to cool plant fibers, chicken manure pellets, organic fertilizer pellets, clay, magnesia sand and sintered dolomite with great effect.
Rotary cooler working principle
The spherical material conveyed by the dryer enters the rotating barrel through the guide tank of the cooler feed box and falls into the tilted pushing material sheet area, the material quickly slides to the depth of the barrel. Because of the inclination and rotary motion of the body, the material is spiraled through the combination of the sheet area, and heat exchange with the cold air entering the barrel.
And at the same time, with the kiln body according to the design of the slope and rotating speed, the material is also in the kiln periodically rolling forward, so as to transport the raw material from the inlet end to the outlet end, and to ensure that the material through the rotary kiln time to cool to less than 200 ℃. The cooled material is discharged through the discharge end of the cylinder.
Rotary cooler structure
The rotary cooler consists mainly of the following components.
(1) cylinder body (2) pallet wheel stopper (3) transmission (4) feeding device
The rotary cooler is divided into two forms of left and right rotation, from the feed end, the transmission is left-mounted right rotation, the cylinder rotation is clockwise; on the contrary, right-mounted left rotation, the cylinder rotation is counterclockwise, its basic structure is shown in the attached picture, the cylinder device with front and rear wheel belt as the fulcrum point, fixed on the pallet wheel, by the stop wheel axis positioning. The transmission is driven by a half-open gear via an outer gear ring fixed to the barrel. The feed end is sealed.
Its main structural features are as follows.
1. The barrel inclination angle is adjusted to 2~2.5° to ensure that the material has enough residence time.
2. The internal cross plate (lifting plate) adopts the latest structural form and is divided into several areas such as spiral feed area, cooling area and discharge area, and the lifting plate makes full use of the cylinder space.
3. The cylinder body is manufactured in sections, the flange connection is easy to install and transport, easy to install and dismantle for maintenance.
4. Improved sealing device, cooler material and cold air counterflow, reduce dust.
